We’re back.
That’s right, we’ve got an all-new Starting Five, courtesy of our good friend Jordan, who was kind enough to let us shoot the five kicks that are currently in his rotation (and their doubles of course…you’ve got to be sure to keep two pairs on deck if at all possible). Let’s get right to it!
1. Supreme x Nike Air Force 1 High
Jordan Says: The red AF1’s were my favorite colorway out of the three Supreme released last year. I threw the white laces in my everyday pair, they contrast so well with the white upper.
2. Ricardo Tisci x Nike Air Force 1 Mid
Jordan Says: The tan Tisci’s are one of my favorite AF1 collabs ever. The shoe is super premium quality…even the liner is a soft, buttery leather. I’ll be keeping the tan pair in heavy rotation all fall and winter, and I’ve got the white ones on deck for when summer comes around.
3. Adidas Yeezy 35o Boost “Turtledove”
Jordan Says: There’s not much I can say about the 35o Boosts that hasn’t been said already. I love the Pirate Black colorway as well, but the Turtledoves are super clean. They’re comfy, dope, and a Kanye shoe. What’s not to love?
4. Adidas Ultra Boost
Jordan Says: Boost foam is the most comfortable technology on the market right now, and the Ultra Boost is one of the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned, period. You can never go wrong with a clean white shoe, and the off-white hits on the upper add a nice touch too. I was actually lucky enough to score 6 pairs of these on release day…straight off the iPhone nonetheless.
5. Common Projects Suede Chelsea Boots
Jordan Says: Had to throw some Chelsea boots in to switch it up a bit. I couldn’t decide between the black and the tan pair, so I went ahead and picked them both. The suede on these is incredibly soft, and they’re super comfortable. They have a great slim silhouette, and look excellent with a pair of slim stacked denim. These might just be my favorite pairs I’ve picked up recently.
Many thanks to Jordan for letting us come through and shoot his rotation. What was your favorite pair? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter, and stay tuned for more Starting Fives coming soon!
