Wow. We’re finally here. The end of 2016. A year with a lot of extreme highs and very low lows, both in the sneaker game, and the real world (yes, I do know there are other things going on besides sneakers).
It’s been a whirlwind year for myself personally, as well as KicksOneTwo. As some of you already know, midway through the year I accepted a paid writing gig (a goal I’d been striving for since the creation of this site) at PIFF, the best store in the Twin Cities (check my work for their blog right here).
Although it can sometimes be a challenge taking on twice as much writing work, I love it. There’s nothing in the world I’d rather be doing, and if you’ve enjoyed one single article you’ve read on here or over at the Piff website, I truly appreciate it. Your support is what keeps me going and gets me behind the keys to work up new content each and every single day.
Speaking of each and every single day, we’re coming up on three years straight here at KicksOneTwo. I’m proud of the fact that you can come here at 8 AM every morning and there will be something new for your viewing pleasure, be it a list, an opinion piece, a news article, or just some dope music for you to rock out to. Content creation is the most important thing to me, and I want to be sure I’m bringing you the best stuff possible each and every day.
So thank you for all the love in 2016, and get ready for 2017 … because things will be getting ramped up to the next level. Happy New Year to you and yours!
