The New DMP Pack Celebrates MJ’s Last Championship In Style

There’s nothing quite like a Jordan DMP pack. Two great shoes in one set celebrating a dope part of Michael Jordan’s career? Yeah, they’re just as much of a winner as they sound like, and the newest DMP release continues that tradition.

It consists of a XIII and and XIV done up in a white/gold and a black/gold colorway to commemorate MJ’s last championship in 1998. Quick backstory for those of you who might not be familiar: Michael wore the XIII’s for the first five games, and then switched to the XIV’s (marking the first time they’d ever been seen by the general public) for the last two.

Sneaker-wise and hoop-wise, that’s a great way to go out on top, and this pack pays homage to that moment perfectly. The gold/white XIII’s make a great summer pair, while the black/gold XIV’s can get you through any of the colder months scot-free. These jawns will set you back $500 (remember when DMP/countdown packs were $350 or less and sometimes went on sale? We do, but that’s a story for another day), and release on the 14th of June.

If you’re an MJ fan or you just like gold sneakers, you’ve gotta cop these. We’ve gotta say, this is some of the cleanest work we’ve seen from Jordan Brand in a long while, as a lot of their recent GR’s have been pretty sub-par. These though? Heat. The 14th can’t get here soon enough.
