The Most Lit Sneaker Of 2017 Arrives This Weekend
We’re not even halfway through the first month of 2017, and the competition for the most lit sneaker of the year is already completely, totally, unequivocally over. You can’t fuck with a Monarch … and you absolutely, positively can’t fuck with a special edition Monarch.
Normcore gawd and Seahawks coach Pete Carroll will take to the sideline for this weekend’s game against the Detroit Lions rocking the special-edition Monarchs pictured above … and the Lions might as well pack up and head back to the Motor City right now, because with heat this severe on the Seahawks sideline, they really don’t stand a chance.

Happy New Year’s Eve!
Wow. We’re finally here. The end of 2016. A year with a lot of extreme highs and very low lows, both in the sneaker game, and the real world (yes, I do know there are other things going on besides sneakers).
It’s been a whirlwind year for myself personally, as well as KicksOneTwo. As some of you already know, midway through the year I accepted a paid writing gig (a goal I’d been striving for since the creation of this site) at PIFF, the best store in the Twin Cities (check my work for their blog right here).

Rio 2016: A Lit Sneaker Olympics
Every 4 years when the Olympics come around, we’re treated to lots of great shoes. Brands bring out their latest and greatest to showcase on the world’s biggest stage … and sneakerheads get a chance to immerse themselves in dozens of Olympic collections, collaborations, and colorways. Each and every Olympic Games has their own special releases, but Rio 2016 may very well be one of the best Olympics in terms of sneakers yet, as every brand that dropped special products came correct.

We love taking photos. Sneaker photos specifically (we are a sneaker-based website after all). The Lowdown On TCSAX 7
It’s almost that time of year again.
That’s right, the 7th installment of the Twin City Sneaker Art Exchange is almost upon us, and it’s a can’t-miss event for any Minnesota sneakerhead, music lover, or art aficionado. Taking place on April 10th at the Mayo Clinic Square from 12-6 PM, everything great about sneakers and sneaker culture will be under one roof.
In the market to buy, sell, or trade some kicks? There will be tables full of them. Want to hear some dope local music? Several artists from the Minneapolis/St. Paul area will be blessing the mic. Love art? Local artists will have their wares on display. There will also be giveaways from both local and national brands.

Staff Top Three – 2015 Pickups and Favorites
January 1st. New year, new possibilities, new days to cop new kicks. We’re in for a great year of sneakers, and we couldn’t be more excited.
Every year, there’s a few shoes that really stand out to you, weather they were your favorite pickups or kicks you get a lot of wear out of, and we thought we’d share the shoes that stood out to us. Bobby’s showing his three favorite pickups of the year (shoes that he picked up in the past 12 months, not just shoes that released in the past 12 months, and I’m showing off the three shoes that I got the most wear out of.
